Our name "Thunder Whippets" reflects our horse farm "Thunder Valley Walkers" in name only, as our dogs are loving companions.  Thunder Whippets is dedicated to conform to ALL AKC standards.  Our whippets don't need to prove himself in the show industry to be a blue ribbon Whippet, they certainly have paved their way exhibiting a powerful gait, balance, keen and alert expressions and charm to win anyone's heart.  

We are aimed to produce classic, healthy and correct whippets with excellent temperaments.  Whippets are so much more fun than just being "bitten by the show-ring", we wish success in all activities with their new owners - showing, agility, lure coursing or obedience.

Being in the horse industry we place special emphasis on AKC standards,  sweet disposition,  conformation, sound mind and pedigree~ in the doggy world we place the same emphasis. We believe a happy dog is raised with lots of attention and love in a home setting.  A  great companion for the whole family.  They are quiet, affectionate and amiable dogs..  They are a mid-sized sight-hound, easy keepers, requiring  indoor living and daily outdoor exercise in a fenced in yard... Owning a Whippet will definitely  grace your life and family.
