Poem Dedicated to Candace Blake

She dances with horses white, yellow and gold
And becomes part of the magic when their mysteries unfold

It's a fairytale life blessed with school friends and boys
But it's her ponies she claims are her favorite toys

While most kids spend Saturdays at the local Malls
She's imprinting foals in their newborn stalls

An accomplished Equestrian others envy to master
As they watch her lead broodmares to a distant pasture

Candace, your special, and animals know it too
When you turn to leave, don't they all follow you?

And humans could benefit to follow in your shoes
For all you could teach them, they don't have a clue

This is how I shall always think of you:

A horse whisperer child waving gently goodbye
As you ride off on a wild stallion into Eternity's Sky.

Thank you, Candace, for all you have taught me.

Candace, this song is All I Have To Give by the BackStreet Boys. I chose it because you have so much to give if one is willing to receive. You remind me of an old saying that goes something like this ......when the student is ready, a teacher will appear. Thanks for being that Teacher to me.

Love, Susan Stumpf
